OSTRY MOUNTAIN (1293 m)
If you like hiking, we recommend a trip to the Ostry mountain (Großer Osser). The route starts in Hamry and continues through Statecek. The route is for the fittest - the uphill is 6.6 km long, the whole time there is a climb with an elevation of 663m, the view from the top
but it's worth it. If you feel like it, you can take the way back via Zadni Hamry, which will make the trip a bit longer. lenght: 14,2 km / map
PODOLÍ / JAVOŘÍ / TRŽEK
It's also very nice in the Podoli area, here's a tip for a shorter trip, which leads through the nice ruins of the 14th century church of St. Bartholomew. You can extend the route through Javori and Trzek, or on the other side in the direction of Hubenov, Besiny.
lenght: 5,2 km / map
VELHARTICE CASTLE
We should not forget to mention a trip to Velhartice Castle. You can walk around, eat, take a tour of the castle (we recommend booking in advance) and on the way back to the car park you can buy local potatoes in the vending machine, they are usually good! In the summer there is also a funfair. On the way we recommend a visit to the church of St. Mary Magdalene. map
